Listed below are a group of URL s that include a wide variety of chess tournaments (both adult and scholastic or both) in the VA-DC-MD area (Baltimore – Richmond) and National too.  Playing in an average minimum of 1-2 tournaments per month, will usually keep a scholastic players’ skill growing.

Choosing the right tournament is key in a chess players skill growth and these choices can have serious consequences, both positive and negative.  Feel free to contact me regarding tournament choices for your student(s).
